Tel Aviv Airport

Israel is proud of the fact that our country’s security procedures have kept the 2 million people transiting our airport protected and safe. We wish other countries and airlines would follow us as an example to insure their safety from terrorism.
We were surprised and saddened to learn of Marcia Mengel and Nancy Robertson’s decision to “never set foot in Israel again,” but also to warn other travelers about visiting our country. We apologize for the incident they described and would be more than happy to investigate this if they could supply more details.
Our hope is that the time spent going through our security procedures would not only protect our visitors but also create a safe atmosphere within the country to allow them the freedom to travel about without restrictions or fear.
Shalom.
