Budget Vote in the Senate

Nowhere in the article on Wilson’s gurney ride from obscurity into the “spotlight” was the irony of his mission cited.
Wilson briefly left the sheltering confines and free services of the Bethesda Naval Hospital in order to vote to further reduce the medical and hospital coverage provided to the elderly and the disabled by Medicare.
It seems that the “spotlight” didn’t really remove Wilson from obscurity, it merely illuminated another reason why he should permanently reside there.
