A 55-year-old convict who was serving a life term for multiple offenses apparently has escaped from San Quentin Prison. Officials said that Michael Joseph Sanchez was reported missing after a search of the prison failed to turn up any sign of him. Officials said Sanchez sometimes uses the name Mark Miller.
