The Santa Ana-based computer retailer, which operates eight stores in Los Angeles and Orange counties, sought protection from its creditors in papers filed Monday in U.S. District Court in Santa Ana. The filing comes amid a slowdown in personal computer sales, price cutting by retailers and the growing domination of the retail field by large national and regional chains.
