Pierce College Routs PCC, 16-0, in Season Finale

Pierce College collected 18 hits Tuesday to defeat Pasadena City, 16-0, in the season finale for both teams.
The Brahmas (12-17) and Pasadena finished the Metro Conference 9-11.
Designated-hitter Joe Reda got the scoring started for Pierce with a three-run triple in the first inning. He collected three more hits and a fourth run batted in as the Brahmas added three runs in the second, four in the third, two in the fifth and final four in the sixth.
Third baseman Mark Glennie contributed four hits including a double and three RBIs. Jon Tannis added three hits, including a triple.
Alan Jaeger, Jim Barbee and Klint Testerman pitched three innings each for a five-hit shutout.
