PHILOSOPHER CHUCK

Chuck Norris said, “You will never see me playing a character that I think could be harmful to kids”; and “they (the audience) know my films are OK because I don’t get into heavy-duty sex scenes . . . it’s sex scenes that can harm a kid” (“Chuck Norris--An All-American Hit,” by Pat H. Broeske, May 12).
Does he really believe such nonsense?
He should also know that unspent sexual energy often releases itself in acts of violence--violence, unfortunately, that is being glorified by the likes of Norris, Stallone, Eastwood and other screen “heroes.”
