Terrible Tragedy in Philadelphia

I am writing to express my horror at the heinous crime committed in Philadelphia against members of MOVE and the entire neighborhood.

Women and children were murdered by being burned alive. They used to do this to witches at the stake many years ago. How far have we come in being civilized? Excuses of those concerned that they did not know there would be a fire are rubbish. They knew, as did all living in that area, that the house had been stockpiling gasoline. They had pictures of gasoline cans being hauled into the roof area. Even a child knows that bombs break power lines and gas lines and would cause a fire.

I am ashamed of being an American. What other civilized country in the world would drop a bomb on a house in a heavily populated area to rout out the occupants, especially knowing that there were innocent children involved?
