Zurn Industries Gets Contracts for $35 Million

ERIE, Pa. — Zurn Industries Inc. said it received two contracts valued at $35 million for the design and construction of two biomass energy plants.
The company said it will design and build a wood-fired cogeneration plant in Sherman Station, Me., to be owned and operated by Signal Energy Systems Group.
The other contract calls for Zurn to design and build a wood-fired power plant for Eel River Lumber Co. at Fortuna, Calif. Power produced by the plant will be purchased by Pacific Gas & Electric Co.
