Airlift Competition Scheduled Next Week

WASHINGTON — The Military Airlift Command will stage its seventh annual airlift competition Monday through June 7 in North Carolina, with teams from six nations joining active duty, National Guard and reserve teams from the United States, the Air Force said Tuesday.
The competition, called Volant Rodeo, will test the resupplying of ground forces from the air when landings are not possible.
