Evelyn Ashford Gives Birth to a Girl

Sprinter Evelyn Ashford, world record-holder at 100 meters and winner of two gold medals last summer in the Los Angeles Olympics, gave birth to a girl early Thursday morning at Cedars-Sinai Hospital.
Ashford and her husband, Ray Washington, named the baby Raina Ashley. Raina weighed 5 pounds 13 ounces.
