A Sun Valley painter was killed Thursday when an electrical shock threw him off the roof of a two-story building in Reseda.
Pete Fiszer, 50, was painting a commercial sign on the roof of the building in the 7100 block of Darby Street at about 2 p.m. when an aluminum pole to which he had attached a paintbrush came in contact with overhanging electrical wires, Los Angeles County Deputy Coroner Phil Spada said.
Fiszer, who was thrown to the ground, was pronounced dead at the scene from head injuries, Spada said.
