The Chatsworth Community Coordinating Council honored four residents at its annual installation and awards banquet at Josephina’s Restaurant in Simi Valley. The organization has been recognizing outstanding community involvement since 1966. This year’s honorees were Dean and Candy Craig, for their work with the Chatsworth Historical Society and the Homestead Acre gardens; Robert Lee Hayes, for his leadership with community youth groups for more than 10 years and as Youth of the Year, and Michael Lawrence Douglis, for his achievements as Chatsworth High School’s editor-in-chief and for academic excellence.
