Charm of Greystone

The ambiance of Greystone (“Mansion’s History Rich and Tragic,” Aug. 25) is one of charm and gracious living, reminiscent of another time, another place.
Why not convert it into a cultural center for all the arts? For example, musical and artistic events with an extra special library as a resource for these activities?
Such a center would be an oasis for so many of us who feel the need for such a center. Greystone is beautifully situated, high atop the Hills of Beverly, and I felt transported to another realm rich in cultural and intellectual pursuits whenever I visited it. As a starter, I’d be glad to contribute some treasures from my personal library.
