Kaiser Steel said it sold its steel tubing subsidiary.

Terms of the purchase by Hannibal Industries were not disclosed. Kaiser Steel Tubing, located in Vernon, was acquired by Kaiser Steel in 1970. The sale is part of the company’s program to divest itself of “assets which were acquired primarily as an outlet for steel mill products,” Chairman Monty Rial said.
