Times Mirror Co., parent of the Los Angeles Times, elected Peter C. Goldmark Jr. a vice president. As previously announced, he reports to David Laventhol, group vice president for the company’s Eastern newspapers, which include Newsday, the Hartford Courant and the Stamford Advocate, among others.
Goldmark had been executive director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
