Napoleon Glasses Stolen

RENNES, France — Napoleon’s field glasses, used at the battle of Austerlitz in 1805, have been stolen by thieves who broke into a chateau in Brittany and escaped with valuables worth more than $115,000, police said today. The burglars, who struck Thursday, also stole hair from Louis XVI’s horses from the 15th-Century chateau in Josselin owned by the Rohan family.
