Work is scheduled to begin Thursday on a corporate headquarters building for CoastFed Properties, major housing development firm, at the southeast corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Doheny Drive.
The three-story structure, designed by Welton Becket Associates, will contain 51,709 square feet of office space and will have 165 parking spaces in three underground levels in addition to surface-level parking for customers. The $5.6-million project has a fall, 1986 completion date.
Other tenants will include Coast Savings & Loan Assn. (ground floor) and National Partnership Investments Corp., a syndication firm. CoastFed will occupy the entire top floor. Its revenues reached $186 million last year for about 2,500 completed housing units.
