Industrial Complexes : Alpha Mirco Project Finished in Santa Ana

The two-story, 72,000-square-foot headquarters building and 103,000-square-foot manufacturing facility known as the Alpha Micro project in Harbor Corporate Park, Santa Ana, has been completed at a cost of about $17 million by the Sammis Co. in partnership with Metropolitan Life Insurance Co.
Parts Firm Expands
Cardis Corp., a wholesale distributor of automotive parts, will occupy a 95,040-square-foot industrial building at 6251 Regio Ave., Buena Park. The building was purchased for $3.35 million from Esselte Pendaflex Corp. Collins Fuller Corp., Irvine and Riverside, represented both parties in the transaction.
Storage Facility Leased
Records Retention Inc., Hayward, has leased 59,000 square feet of space in the Commerce Distribution Center for 7 1/2 years for a consideration of $1.7 million. Grubb & Ellis Commercial Brokerage Services represented both the tenant and the owner of development in the City of Commerce, Trammell Crow Co.
Facility Sold
Borstein Enterprises, Santa Monica, has purchased a 147,500-square-foot industrial facility from the Muller Co., Newport Beach, for $4.27 million. The project is at 10670 Acacia St., Rancho Cucamonga. Collins Fuller Corp., Irvine and Riverside, represented Muller in the negotiation, an exchange transaction with Ticor, Los Angeles.
Fall Completion Set
A Nov. 30 completion is scheduled for a $1.3-million, 76,350-square-foot industrial building being developed by Exhibitree Properties Assn., Newport Beach, at Bake Parkway and Muirlands Boulevard in Irvine. Designed by Architects Orange, Orange, the building is being constructed by Breton Construction Inc., Irvine.
