Tishman West Management Corp. has been appointed as exclusive management and leasing agent for the Atlantic Richfield Plaza in downtown Los Angeles, succeeding Cushman & Wakefield.
Tishman’s president, Perry S. Herst Jr., said the 3.5-million-square-foot property located at 515 S. Flower St., offers two 52-story towers and the largest subterranean shopping center in the United States.
“Earlier this year we also took over management and leasing for the Security Pacific Bank center at 333 S. Hope St., after it was acquired by Metropolitan Life Insurance Co.,” Herst said.
Tishman West has a portfolio of owned and managed properties that exceeds 16 million square feet. “I believe our particular asset is that we are not a brokerage firm. We are owner/builders and we approach each property from the standpoint of ownership, with particular focus on long-term maintenance and service,” Herst added.
