The Church of the Angels at 1100 Ave. 64 in Pasadena resulted from the collaboration of English architects Arthur Edmund and Ernest A. Coxhead. Coxhead, who designed many churches for the Episcopal Church in California, oversaw its construction in 1889. Unfortunately, upper part of tower was lost in the 1971 earthquake.
