Mya Sanders has been named women’s softball coach at Cal State Dominguez Hills, replacing Kathy Strahan, who took a similar position at San Jose State. Sanders, 25, a San Diego native, had been the assistant coach at Santa Monica College, where she also replaced Strahan in 1983. A former star athlete at Palomar College and San Diego State, Sanders also served as an assistant coach at Palomar before going to Santa Monica. She will be assisted by Dale Munn.
