Excavation for Hotel Pool Nears Completion

Excavation is nearly complete for the 84-by-48-foot swimming pool at the Desert Princess Resort Hotel and Country Club at Vista Chino and Landau Boulevard, Cathedral City. The pool complex will include two spas and a 20,000-square-foot recreation deck.
The 300-room hotel is being developed by Watt Industries Inc. and will be managed by Princess Cruises Resorts & Hotels. It will be surrounded by an 18-hole golf course, now completed, and will have a tennis and racquetball complex as well as a condominium development.
