Furniture Store Destroyed: A Garden Grove furniture store was destroyed when a fire of undetermined origin raced through the building shortly after 3 a.m. Sunday, fire officials said. The blaze at the one-story Pacific Furniture showroom at 9732 Garden Grove Blvd. was raging when 30 firefighters from Garden Grove and Anaheim arrived, fire officials said. Damage to the building and its contents was estimated at $500,000. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
