Daylight Time

Doesn’t Congress have anything to do other than to force more daylight saving time on the public? If anything, Congress should abolish it completely.
It’s a big pain to change all the clocks twice a year. Babies and dogs don’t change when the clocks do.
The clincher, as The Times editorial said (Sept. 2), is that Halloween would come during daylight saving time, giving the children an extra hour of light for going door-to-door.
It will be another hour for us not to answer the door, having to get up and down for three hours to give out candy that has become too expensive to buy.
If Congress passes this bill, it will be one of the biggest tricks played on the American public in some time.
