Cal State Fullerton Scores 3-1 Soccer Victory Over St. Mary’s

Gary McKimmey scored two goals Sunday to lead the Cal State Fullerton soccer team to a 3-1 nonconference victory over St. Mary’s on the Gaels’ field.
The Titans (3-1) led at halftime, 1-0, on McKimmey’s first goal. He came back to score again in the second half. Rich Davies collected Fullerton’s other goal.
The Titans play host to the University of San Diego at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
In other nonconference action:
UC Irvine 2, UC Davis 2 (OT)--Mark Stier and Kenn Gunn gave the Anteaters 1-0 and 2-1 leads, only to see Jesus Rico tie the match twice at UCI. The teams went scoreless in overtime.
The Anteaters are 0-3-1, the Mustangs are 1-1-1.
In women’s action:
UC Davis 3, UCI 1--Heather Silverman and Shelly Gimbal scored second-half goals to give the Mustangs their first win of the season in a nonconference match at UCI.
Nancy Landis scored in the first half to give Davis (1-1) a 1-0 lead. Lori Heinselman came back to tie it for the Anteaters (1-1).
