A court approved a foreclosure settlement.

The settlement of a class-action lawsuit calls for homeowners foreclosed upon by T. D. Service Co. to receive compensation for alleged overpayments of certain fees. Payments will be made from a $4.5-million fund financed from contributions from Orange-based T. D. Services and more than 300 lending institutions, mortgage brokers and title companies that used its services. San Francisco Superior Court Judge Ira A. Brown Jr. set a Nov. 8 deadline for filing claims. Persons who paid trustee fees in connection with foreclosures by T. D. Services from 1970 through 1983 should contact Khourie & Crew, P.O. Box 7646, San Francisco 94120.
