Forging ahead with its expansion plans, HomeClub Inc., the Fullerton-based chain of home-improvement centers, said that it will open a new warehouse-retail location in Fresno on Sept. 28. It will be the fifth warehouse the firm has established since June, bringing the total to 12. The others are in Santa Rosa, El Monte, San Jose, Conoga Park. A HomeClub spokeswoman said the company, using some of the $30 million it raised in a private stock placement last January, intends to add an additional six stores by the end of the year.
