Gary Peacock resigned Monday as vice president of finance for Newport-based AirCal airline. Peacock gave no reason for his departure after two years with the company, but said he would announce his future plans at a later date. He joined Air Cal as its chief financial officer in June 1983. AirCal spokesman Bill Bell said Peacock’s departure was a friendly one, and that a search for his replacement would begin soon.
Peacock had been vice president of Spacelink, Ltd. a cable television company for a year before the firm moved its headquarters from Newport Beach to Inglewood, Colo.
