Computer Sciences bought a credit bureau.

The El Segundo-based company, which operates a credit reporting network of 160 bureaus in 23 states through its subsidiary, Associated Credit Services, said it purchased the Credit Bureau of Greater Kansas City, the largest such firm in Missouri. The Kansas City credit bureau services 2,500 retailers in 74 counties in Missouri and eastern Kansas. Terms of the purchase were not disclosed.
