The World : 4 Seized in Thai Coup Bid

Four of Thailand’s former top military officers were arrested and charged with treason by authorities investigating last week’s unsuccessful coup. The four include Kriangsak Chomanan, a former prime minister and former supreme military commander who now leads one of of four parties in the coalition government, and Serm Na Nakhon, another former supreme military commander. Arrest warrants have been issued for at least 25 people, among them suspected coup ringleader Manoon Roopkachorn, a cashiered army colonel, who has fled the country.
