Informatics General plans to lay off 94 employees.

The computer software firm said 70 workers will be dismissed at its Canoga Park facility. The other 24 layoffs will be at field offices across the nation. Sterling Software, which acquired Woodland Hills-based Informatics this month, said the action is part of a restructuring of the Informatics corporate systems group, which develops and markets software for large companies.
