WASHINGTON — The maker of the “Wrinkles Away” electric clothes steamer is recalling 188,000 of the devices that could burn users, the Consumer Product Safety Commission said Wednesday.
The Franzus Co. of New York initiated the recall of models WA-111 and WA-222 of the steamer after learning that boiling water could spill from them, the agency said. Owners were advised to return the steamers to the Franzus Co., Dept. 819, 352 Park Ave. S., New York, N.Y. 10010.
