Regarding Tom Matthews’ letter (Sept. 15) on Don “I’m-a-Legend-in-My-Own-Head” Simpson: “I will have to be very, very, very lucky just to get the opportunity to kiss his gaudy ring. . . .”
Sadly, no matter how talented Matthews is, the kid will never make it in Lotusland. He’s too dumb to realize it’s not the ring he’s supposed to kiss.
