ACTOR ATTITUDE
I must protest Mickey Rourke’s attitudes as expressed in Deborah Caulfield’s article “ ‘Dragon’ Rourke Breathes Fire” (Sept. 16).
Now that the media are not slobbering over Rourke’s alleged talent, he is now feeling different about them. Where did he get the idea that the media was a cheering section for marginally talented “actors”?
Rourke has been caught red-handed with his pants down, racially speaking, appearing in “Year of the Dragon,” a disgusting, racist motion picture.
Somebody should tell him that being in the “flickers” is not the same as being an All-Knowing God. He is still required to be a human being, even if he is an alleged “actor.”
