Foundation Goals

In response to Bill Ritter’s column, in which he refers to “a rising tide of internal discontent” over the goals of the Mexican and American Foundation, we would like to make the following comments. The board of trustees directs this organization with sound business accountability, as evidenced by the recent audit performed by Touche Ross & Co. If there is any dissension within the organization, it is minimal and relates not to finances but to the directional goals the foundation is following.
