‘Most Wanted’ Fugitive Cornered in Golf Shed

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — An escaped convict sought for bank robberies in South Carolina and Vermont and named on the FBI’s 10 “most wanted” list was captured Monday in a golf course maintenance shed.
Lohman Ray Mays Jr., 40, was arrested without incident. He had fled when a city police officer stopped the van in which he was traveling with a companion, Patricia Anne Barrett, 28.
