Local News in Brief : Woodland Hills Driver Hurt in Head-On Crash

A23-year-old Woodland Hills woman suffered a broken leg and knee Wednesday when her car drifted into oncoming traffic in the Winnetka area and smashed head-on into another car, Los Angeles police said.
Officer Ron Hutchison said Cheryl Plascove was driving east in the 22000 block of Saticoy Street at about 9:40 a.m. when she crossed the center divider and drove into another car carrying two men.
Plascove was taken to Northridge Hospital Medical Center, where she was in good condition, a hospital spokeswoman said. Neither of the two men was seriously injured, police said. Plascove was not cited for any traffic violation, Hutchison said.
