Plunkett May Face More Shoulder Surgery

Raider quarterback Jim Plunkett, who suffered a separated left shoulder in Sunday’s 34-10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, remained in the hospital Wednesday after having diagnostic arthroscopic surgery. Major reconstructive surgery may be required.
Coach Tom Flores said Wednesday that doctors “would wait a few days to see whether he’d need surgery to correct it or whether it would tighten up.”
Either way, Plunkett will be out of action for a minimum of six weeks, Flores said.
