The city has formed the Santa Monica Arts Foundation, a group that will assist in raising funds for public arts projects.
The members of the foundation are: Patricia Dougherty, arts advocate; Jennifer Flinton, senior vice president of marketing and communications, American Medical International; Sheila Goldberg, Venice Art Walk organizer; Sandy Hill, KCBS-TV reporter; Elaine Hoffman, public relations consultant, and Paul Leaf, writer, director and producer.
Also, Bobi Leonard, original Main Street builder and designer; Alan Levin, president, CBS productions; Michael McCarty, restaurateur; George Rosenthal, president, Raleigh Enterprises; Alan Schwartz, attorney; Scott Siegler Sr., vice president creative affairs, Warner Brothers Television; Martin Sosin, attorney; Carl Workman, managing partner, Workman & Ruxin, and Marvin Zeidler, president, Zeidler & Zeidler.
