CORONA — Five people were injured Tuesday in a three-car accident at a busy intersection in front of Corona High School.
Deanna Mault of Corona was turning left from Lincoln Avenue to 10th Street when an oncoming car collided with hers, witnesses said. Mault’s car then skidded into a pickup truck.
Mault and a passenger in the second car, Eddie Foster of Garden Grove, were examined for possible head injuries at Riverside General Hospital. Both were listed in stable condition pending diagnoses, a hospital spokeswoman said.
The driver of the second car and another passenger were treated at Corona Community Hospital and released.
The driver of the pickup truck, Margaret Dixon of Corona, also suffered minor injuries.
