Fullerton College Women Rout Grossmont

The Fullerton College women’s basketball team opened its season with an easy, 77-29, win over Grossmont Friday at Fullerton.
Freshman Sharon Lyon, formerly of Woodbridge High School, had 11 rebounds and 9 points to lead the Hornets. Sophomore guard Sandie Lamb and forward Julie Bjork each had 12 points. Ten of the Fullerton’s 12 players scored in the rout.
