Antelope Valley Schools Closed

Five school districts in the Antelope Valley dismissed classes today because ice and snow conditions made roads too hazardous for school buses, sheriff’s deputies reported.
Three inches of icy snow closed Interstate 14 and California 138 to all vehicles except those with tire chains from 11 p.m. Wednesday until 9 a.m. today, the California Highway Patrol reported.
