Pasadena : Pearl Bailey Concert

The Pasadena Recreation and Parks Foundation and the Pasadena Educational Foundation have joined to sponsor a benefit concert at Ambassador Auditorium on Feb. 5, starring singer Pearl Bailey and Louie Bellson’s orchestra. Louis J. Richards and James D. Gamb, presidents of the foundations, said the concert will be part of Pasadena’s Centennial celebration and money raised will meet a matching grant to finance lighting for four baseball fields at Victory Park.
