MURDY GIVES 2ND GIFT TO CENTER

The Murdy Foundation has made a second $100,000 donation for the construction of the Orange County Performing Arts Center in Costa Mesa.
The Orange County-based foundation made its previous $100,000 contribution in 1982.
The foundation was established by Mr. and Mrs. John Murdy Jr. It is administered by John Murdy III and Maxine Murdy Trotter.
The Center is now under construction in South Coast Plaza Town Center. The 3,000-seat multipurpose theater is set to open next fall.
