The Region : Pair Arrested in USC Robberies, Rape

Los Angeles police arrested a 24-year-old man and his 15-year-old female companion in the robbery of three women USC students and the rape of one of them. Southwest Division Sgt. Steve LaRoche said the victims, all 20 years old, were seized at gunpoint as they got into their car near a restaurant in the 3500 block of South Figueroa Street near the campus. After being robbed of personal possessions, two of the women were ordered out of the car while the third was forced to drive the robbers to a vacant house in the area. She said the man raped her and left her there. Police subsequently spotted the rape victim’s car being driven by the teen-ager and arrested her. William Kenneth Nash, 24, was taken into custody at his home.
