A collection of Indian artifacts from sites in the Lake Forest area has been donated to the Heritage Hill Historical Park, El Toro, by the sites’ owners, Sterling Homes Inc., Irvine, and the Fieldstone Co., Newport Beach.
The artifacts were collected during scientific excavations made by RMW Paleo Associates, Mission Viejo, as part of the cultural mitigation for the property. The artifacts will be used in a permanent educational exhibition at the historical park at Serrano Road and Lake Forest Drive, El Toro, part of the Orange County Park System.
