AHMANSON GIVES $150,000 TO CENTER

The Los Angeles-based Ahmanson Foundation has donated $150,000 to the Orange County Performing Arts Center, bringing the foundation’s total contribution for construction of the Center to $500,000. Nearly $53 million has been raised toward the $70.7-million construction cost of the Center, scheduled to open on Sept. 29.
