Hollywood : Producer to Get Star

Television producer and writer Stephen J. Cannell, who created the long-running series “The Rockford Files,” will be awarded a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Cannell, who produces such series as “The A Team,” “Hunter” and “Riptide,” will get the Walk of Fame’s 1,819th star, in the 7000 block of Hollywood Boulevard in front of the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel.
