Two-year-old Eugenio Leon Jr. died in County-USC Medical Center of burns suffered in an arson fire, officials said. Four others remained in critical condition from burns suffered in the same blaze, which erupted early Monday. Deputy Fire Chief Don Anthony told fire commissioners that the blaze apparently started when someone threw a fast-burning fuel into a hallway of the apartment house at 1116 S. Flower St. and then set it afire. It was the third fire in five days set in a similar fashion in apartment houses within a 2 1/2-mile radius. Anthony said there are no suspects.
