CHICAGO — The National Weather Service issued a brief but pleasant special forecast for Sunday’s NFC championship game between the Rams and the Chicago Bears. The text:
“The outlook for Sunday’s NFC championship game to be played at Soldier Field on Chicago’s lakefront is . . . Fair. Temperatures in the 30s.”
If that forecast holds true, the mercury would be at least 10 degrees higher than it was for the Bears’ playoff game with the New York Giants last Sunday.
